Housing Transition Help

I am volunteering with a relief center in Antioch TN. Antioch is where lower income Nashville has been migrating for the last decade. Antioch has a lot of low country, and holds much of Percy Priest Lake. It was a terrible combination to face a flood. Complete mobile home neighborhoods destroyed, etc.

We are a warehousing operation that receives donations for the community and distributes it to clients. FEMA and Red Cross work with us, as does anybody else in the area. Things are very busy and we have helped 90 families in the first 15 days of operation.

We need volunteers, donations and financial assistance (of course).
We could use as many volunteers as you have, or even just one for one hour would be appreciated.
The clients need small housewares as they move into new apartments, old TV's are welcomed.

The temporary tent city is less than a mile from us, they need camping equipment and nonperishable foods (cans, etc)
We also need connections to places that can contribute light construction supplies (flooring, drywall, paint, etc.)
We are stacked with clothes. But we accept new items.

Please mention us when you can, and help if you have the opportunity.
